Sasquatch and the Wolfman: New Bigfoot Evidence Discovered in East Texas

In the dense forests of Texas, where the howls of wolfdogs echo through the trees, a chilling new chapter in Bigfoot encounters is unfolding. The latest Bigfoot documentary from Wildman of the Woods, titled Sasquatch and the Wolfman, features the return of renowned Sasquatch researcher Jerry Mills and introduces Catherine Howell, founder of the Twin Rivers Wolf and Wolfdog Sanctuary. Together, they uncover a series of terrifying, unexplained events that point to the presence of a cryptid creature—possibly Bigfoot, or something even more bizarre.

This is not folklore. This is not campfire fiction. This is new Bigfoot evidence in the form of massive three-toed footprints, eerie vocalizations in the night, and hair samples collected near wolfdog enclosures. This is Texas Sasquatch territory.

Strange Tracks and Startling Discoveries in Texas Bigfoot Country

The story begins with heavy cinder blocks mysteriously moved and gates found open—despite being secured by sanctuary staff. Not long after, strange Bigfoot footprints were discovered in the mud: elongated, clawed, and three-toed. These tracks were found near the animal pens and around an RV camper. Multiple sightings of similar tracks have been made in cryptid hotspots like the Honey Island Swamp and Boggy Creek, drawing eerie parallels to the Boggy Creek Monster and Honey Island Swamp Monster—two legendary Southern Bigfoot creatures.

Veteran Sasquatch investigator Jerry Mills immediately recognized the track patterns. According to Mills, these are not the bulky, broad-footed tracks of the classic Pacific Northwest Bigfoot. These are narrower, more agile tracks—indicative of a different breed of Southern Sasquatch, perhaps even what some call the Skunk Ape, or as the locals whisper, the East Texas Wolfman.

Bigfoot Howls and Hair-Raising Encounters in the Woods

The encounters didn’t stop at footprints. Sanctuary founder Catherine Howell and other witnesses reported haunting howls, loud vocalizations, and hideous screams echoing from deep within the forest. One night, volunteers even felt their camper violently shake, followed by the discovery of long, reddish cryptid hair samples clinging to the siding and roof. The howls, described as mournful and chest-rattling, seemed to carry intent—and were followed by a chorus of howling wolfdogs, seemingly responding to the mysterious presence.

These audio encounters strongly resemble reported Sasquatch calls from across the United States and match sound patterns associated with Bigfoot communication behavior.

Cryptid Creatures Lurking in East Texas?

What’s stalking the shadows of Grimes County may not be your typical Bigfoot. Based on the unusual Sasquatch footprints, coarse hair, and unique sounds, Mills and Howell theorize the presence of a regional Bigfoot subspecies. Could East Texas be home to a Southern Sasquatch? Could the Wolfman legend be rooted in cryptid reality?

Their investigation draws heavily from decades of Bigfoot research, connecting the dots between Sasquatch sightings, cryptid tracks, and unknown wildlife behavior around the sanctuary.

Wolfdogs vs. Bigfoot: A Battle of Instincts

Interestingly, the 46 wolfdogs at Twin Rivers aren’t barking at the intruder—they’re watching it in eerie silence. According to Catherine, these dogs, who usually get riled up over small movements, are instead captivated, even intimidated by what’s out there. Their behavior suggests they sense a wild animal unlike anything they’ve encountered.

This silent stare-down between domesticated wolves and a possible Sasquatch-type creature adds another layer of mystery to the case—and reinforces the idea that something non-human is lurking just beyond the tree line.

Documenting the Unknown: Next Steps in the Bigfoot Investigation

Mills and Howell aren’t stopping here. Plans are underway to install non-infrared game cameras to avoid alerting what they suspect may be intelligent cryptids with the ability to see IR light. Their goal? Capture irrefutable Bigfoot video evidence from East Texas. With wildlife camera setups, strategic observation, and a bit of luck, the Wildman of the Woods team hopes to prove once and for all that Sasquatch is real.

Are We Living Beside the Unknown?

Whether it’s Bigfoot, the Texas Wolfman, or a Southern swamp cryptid, one thing is clear—there’s something mysterious happening at Twin Rivers Sanctuary. The sightings, sounds, and unexplained Bigfoot signs all point to one conclusion: we may not be as alone in the woods as we think.

This story is more than a search for a creature—it’s about recognizing that nature still holds secrets. And sometimes, the wild isn’t just wild. It’s watching.
