Boater Sees Bigfoot on Shoreline

Bigfoot Encounter Report
Location: Northwestern New Jersey, near the Pennsylvania border
Date: Approximately 1976, early morning

Incident Details:
At 6 a.m., a 19-year-old witness was in a rowboat on a mist-covered lake when they heard the sound of water spilling. As the rising sun cleared the mist, their attention was drawn to an abandoned, overgrown beach area near a set of large rocks. To their astonishment, they saw what appeared to be a large arm lifting water from the lake. Moments later, a figure approximately 7 feet tall stood up, holding a juvenile against its chest in a manner similar to a monkey carrying its young.

The creature, clearly aware of the witness’s presence, briefly looked in their direction before retreating into the woods. From a distance of roughly 50 feet, the witness had an unobstructed view and was struck with both awe and emotion, as the encounter confirmed a phenomenon they had previously read about. This unforgettable moment left a lasting impression on the witness.
